I have worked with children in the classroom setting, as well as a tutor in our community, both face to face and online. I currently tutor mainly online.
I am a Special Educator trained in the Orton Gillingham methodology. I recently became certified in 2022.
I have the knowledge and experience in providing extra reading support for your child.

What books will my child be reading?
Each week, your child will be provided access different genres
An experienced teacher and a Structured Literacy Interventionist will teach this group.
What will each week look like?
Each week will be centered around the weekly literacy concept. These include:
- making connections
- summarizing
- character traits
- analyzing non-fiction text
- prediction questions
- and many more
This will lead to the improvement of their phonemic awareness, fluency, and accuracy, comprehension skills.
What age or grades is this for?
These classes have been developed for 2nd & 3rd graders. If you suspect your child is struggling with reading, please contact me.
Will my child be given an assessment?
A basic assessment that will include letter /sound recognition and basic phonemic awareness skills.
You will be sent a link to schedule an individual appointment for a more in-depth assessment, if you choose to do so.
Will there be weekly assignments?
Not at this time.
What other communication will parents recieve?
Parents will be sent weekly emails with information on the upcoming week and any other upcoming events
