What reading skills will my child be working on?
Your child will be working on Phonics.
An experienced Structured Literacy Interventionist will provide the skills your child will be working on.

- Decoding Multisyllabic Words
- Vocabulary
- Fluency & Comprehension

What will each week look like?
Each week will be centered around the weekly phonics concept. These include:
- Advanced Phonemic Awareness
- Mastery of Letter-Sound Correspondence
- Decoding Multisyllabic Words
- Vocabulary
- Fluency & Comprehension
- Spelling & Writing Skills
- Word Analysis & Structure
- Advanced Listening & Speaking Skills
- Reading Confidence & Motivation
- and so much more
This will lead to the improvement of their phonemic awareness, fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills.
What age or grades is this for?
These classes have been developed for 2nd & 3rd graders. If you suspect your child is struggling with reading, please contact me.
Will my child be given an assessment?
Please sign up using the link below. This will lead you to a waitlist, which will direct you to fill out a form so that I know what your child needs best.
A basic assessment that will include letter /sound recognition and basic phonemic awareness skills.
If you choose to do so, you will be sent a link to schedule an individual appointment for a more in-depth assessment.
Will there be weekly assignments?
Not at this time.
What other communication will parents recieve?
Parents will be sent weekly emails with information on the upcoming week and any other upcoming events

What if I have more than one child in the family?
If you have more than one child in your family please get in touch with Castle Rock Online Reading Tutor.
I have worked with children in the classroom setting, as well as a tutor in our community, both face to face and online. I currently tutor mainly online.
I am a Special Educator trained in the Orton Gillingham methodology. I recently became certified in 2022.
I have the knowledge and experience in providing extra reading support for your child.
